- we need to have a criteria to make judgements
- peer review publications and scientific literature

What is HerbalGram?
A
- one of the sources of information
- something in between a magazine and journal
- there is peer reviewed journals and other scientific articles.

What is the pattern seen in herbal sales in the U.S.? In Canada?
A
- Every year HerbalGram posts the herbal sales (market report) in the USA. We don’t have them in Canada but we assume they would be similar.
- in 2000 (4.2 billion USD) —> in 2017 (8.1 billion USD)

- Ivy leaf
- Turmeric
- Fenugreek
- Elderberry

- Cannabidiol (in 2016 it wasn’t even on the list, extract of cannabis)
