every 9 years, there is an arcadian tradition that men turn into werewolf for 9 years, and if he doesnt have any human flesh and his clothes are ther in that time he can go back to being a human
lycaon was the king of arcadia he killed and cooked human flesh of a hostage and then when he ate he was immediately turned into a wolf
