Cardiac:
-surrounds cardiac orifice where esophagus enters

Fundus:

  • dome shaped region above esophagocardiac line
  • often contains gas

Body:
-major portion of the stomach between fundus and pylorus

Pylorus:

  • funnel shaped region leading to pyloric sphincter
  • empties into duodenum
