Q

How do stars evolve?

A

Stars form in the densest regions from clouds of dust gas molecules. After their death, their elements are recycled into the interstellar medium.

Q

What are the 6 different motions?

A
  1. The rotation of the Earth
  2. The Earth orbiting the sun
  3. The sun moving with respect to the local stars
  4. Our motion around the galaxy
  5. The motion of the Milky Way in the Local Group
  6. The Local Group moving towards the Virgo Cluster
