1. Metabolic
   -Metabolites act on smooth muscle causing dilation
2. Endothelial
   -Arteriole’s endothelium produces vasodilators like
   nitric oxide when blood flow increases
3. Myogenic
   -Pressure changes within vessels can cause
   smooth muscle constriction/dilation
   -Decreased pressure causes dilation, vice versa
