Predicted a catastrophic end to mineral reserves. However they were wrong. Failed to realised concept of a reserve is a dynamic one.
Reserves versus Resources
The part of a mineral resource which has been fully evaluated and is commercially viable to work, is defined as a mineral reserve.
How are copper ore grades changing?
Average ore grades are decreasing whilst mine development times are increasing
Problem with EV vehicles UK
Would require two times the annual world cobalt product, 3/4 of the worlds lithium supply and half of the world’s copper supply to turn all UK-based vehicles with electric vehicles
