When interpreting assessment data, particularly things from Weschler, what types of scores do you focus on and why?
Composite scores
Because these are the most reliable
When assessing Weschler type results, do we focus on the FSIQ or the index scores
FSIQ is most reliable, but most of your useful information will come from the index scores
How do you determine with a specific index scores is a strength or weakness?
You take the average of the individual indexes administered and compare each index score to the average
How do we interpret the base rate for index level strengths and weaknesses
Less that X% of kids that age have a strength (or weakness) in that area.
