This is a type of variable were one whose categories are used as labels to distinguish on group from another rather than as basis or saying that one is greater or less than the other group.

This is also a type of variable were one whose categories can be measured and ordered according to quantity or amount whose values can be expressed numerically.
Quantitative Variable
This is a type of quantitative variable were we can assume only integral and whole number.
