what is systems biology
A
considering the complexities of biology, and looking at larger picture (e.g. looking at the different systems of the body and how they are affected by disease)

A
parts of a system that cannot be investigated by looking at its individual parts (e.g. personality cannot be investigated by looking at a single neuron, ant hills work cannot be dependent on a single ant)

A
very limited view, but can observe how properties function
