derivative, base, simplistic, trivial practices and products appealing to “primitive” bodily desires.
Mass culture
products for mass consumption sold (by corporations) for profit serving to maintain social status quo.

Folk/everyday culture
stories, practices, objects shared in daily life, sometimes operating as forms of resistance.
