What is social psychology?
The scientific investigation of how the thoughts, feelings and behaviours of individuals are influenced by the actual, imagined or implied presence of others
Outline Behaviourism theory
Idea that all behaviours are acquired through conditioning, and conditioning occurs through interaction with the environment

Behaviours associated with positive situations or outcomes are repeated

Intervening constructs such as beliefs, feelings and motives play a role in behaviour

The idea that learning occurs through observation, imitation and modelling and is influenced by factors such as attention, motivation, attitudes and emotions
