Scientific theory

a conclusion reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning
population
the number of organisms of the same species that live in a particular geographic area at the same time that have the capability to interbreed
teleology
the explanation of phenomena in terms of the purpose they serve rather than of the cause by which they arise
anthropomorphism
the attribution of human characteristics or behavior to an animal, object, or process
