People believe that the time where ‘real racism’ was alive was before MLK and the black rights movements, however its still going on today. people use the fact that “racism is over” as a way to justify that racism does not occur today.

Colourblindness and multiculturalism is the idea that in current day, people do not see race and only see an individual for who they are. Psychological studies show that we actually do see and consider race when identifying someone or meeting them

the act of minimizing ‘non-white’ actions in public for social credit and to even be hired.

  • minorities have to often times work harder than non minorities in order to earn their place
  • being white and white privilege is a form of discipline and part of the social norm
