it can help people avoid destructive or automatic habits and responses b learning to observe their thoughts, emotions and present moment experiences

what is the diff between our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system
our sympathetic :
- fight or fhlight response
- increases our heart beat, msucle tension, pupil dilated
- faster response time bc the nuerons are shorter
- adrenaline
parasympathetic:
- homeostasis
- calm
- digestive response
- large neurons so slower response time
- pupil contracts
what is our 4 layers?
- ego
- muscular
- emotional
- core, love and heart
explain the ego layer
outermost layer it is the layer that we face the world. It is the proctetion shield ilusion of safety and bellonging.
the energy of the heart is activated in these encouters
explain the muscular layer
it is where the tension is held form our past trauma. Chronic muscular tension is the main quality f this layer
explain the emotional layer
whatever chronic muscular is held it will be translated in pain, rage, fear
explain the heart, core and love layer
the essence of this is love and connection
so why does people close themselve? what happens
the energy of the heart to have connection and love wants to reach out the periphery howver when this is met by frustation, punishment we have anxiety. And this affects the muscular to be tense and emotional defenses to be up which then affects our ego and personallity
what is felt sense
it is a way for us to be in synchrony/ understand our body. Feel in tune with it- what emotions we are having, what are the sensation in out body
use some languages of senstaion in the categories
- skin sensation
- temperatre
- expansion sensation
- whole body senstaion
- intensity of sensatin
- constriction sensation
- muscle sensation
- skin sensation: moist, druy, goosebumps
- temperature: hot, cold, numb
- expansion sensation: expasive, fluid, waves
- whole body sensation: calm, fuzzy, puffy, spinning
- intensity of sensatin: intense, hard weak, soft
- constriction sensation : tense, compressed, tight
- muscle sensation: trembling, tense, pulsing
why is this important
a lot of people suffer form health diseases, And it is important to help them but also help ouselves. To be present at the moment, to understand the patient.
listen, create your own internal dialogue towas your felt sense. Regulate uor own needs to show up and as qestions, observe reactions and offer solutions that are resoving a problem not a symptom
