Q

what 4 types of data are needed to establish the environmental fate of a pesticide? What does each type of data consist of?

A
  1. physical and chemical properties - water solubility, vapor pressure, Kow
  2. transformation process - the pathways of transformation or degradation (chemical, biological, sunlight, aerobic or anaerobic)
  3. mobility - how does the pesticide move from applied areas
  4. field study results - relevant studies to Canadian environment.
