What is learning?
Permanent change in behaviour which occurs as a result of practice or experience
What has our knowledge of how we learn guided?
Behavioural change and modify undesirable patterns of behaviour

What is social learning-Bandura
Observing and monitoring behaviours
How human behaviour can be influenced by cognitive, behavioural and environmental influences
What is the doll experiment in social learning?
People learn through imitation
Role models are non aggressive and aggressive to the doll
Child left along with doll to see if they’re aggressive towards the doll or not
What are the results of the Bandura experiment?
Children more exposed to aggressive role model more likely to be aggressive than those not exposed
Boys were more aggressive than girls
More influenced by same sex role models
