Preoperational stage 2-7yrs Use words and pictures to describe objects
Concrete operational stage 7-11yrs Begin to think logically
Formal Operation stage 12-up think abstractly and reason about hypothetical problems

What is attention/sustained?
Stay focused on a task for a sustained period of time
What is attention/ selective
Stay focused on a task despite distractions
What is attention/divided
Remember info whilst doing 2 things at once
What is memory/long term
Recall info stored in past
What is memory/working
Hold info while in process of using it
What is logic and reasoning
Enable you to reason form ideas, solve problems

Analyse, blend and segment sound

Think in visual images
What is processing speed
