Learning styles are used to describe how people learn

What is a visual learner?
A
they learn by seeing
they are good at remembering what they read and write
they understand information best when they see it
(Eg. Through charts pictures or presentations)

What is a auditory learner?
A
They find it easier to take information in and understand if they hear it
They may also say things out loud to help them remember

What is a kinaesthetic learner?
A
They learn best through touching and doing
They prefer to learn in a practical way rather than watching others
They may find it difficult to take in information if they are simply listening

How does knowing your learning style help?
A
- Can help revision (the structure of revision materials)
- To know how to do something to the best of your ability
(eg. Putting something together) - can reduce stress & frustration from learning experiences
