What is the procedure for the bobo doll experiment?
Procedure: 36 boys/girls b/w 3/5yrs

What are the conditions for the bobo doll experiment?
Non aggressive conditions: play with toy in quiet manner -ignores bobo doll
Aggressive Conditions: after a min started acting aggressive towards doll. Novel aggressive behaviour- hit with mallet / kicking. Verbal aggress-shouting if children copied evidence of observational learning.
Hitting the doll did not count- function of doll
When to room with attractive toys- played for two mins told to stop went to room-children observed from 20 mins through one way mirror
What are the findings for the bobo doll experiment?
Aggressive condition -more verbal +physical aggressive compared to non aggressive condition +control grp.
Non aggressive condition 70% of children with 0 ratings of aggression. Both boys /girls- most influenced by male role model- seen as male sex appropriate behaviour.
