A

Conditioned memory

e.g. Repeatedly ring a bell and feed and eventually do salivates when you ring a bell.

  • a cue can lead to a response
  • more likely to occur if accompanied by a primary and maybe even a secondary reinforcer
  • these can be taken away over time as the cue leads straight to a response
