Q
  1. Compare and contrast Pavlovian (classical) conditioning and Operant (instrumental) conditioning. What was similar or different about the conditions necessary for learning and the theories (discussed in class) that each proposed to explain the changes in behavior (the learning)?
A

a. The theory is the creation of a new S(sight of the leverR(press lever) connection which can vary in strength
b. Classical conditioning and operant conditioning are different based on conditions and environments that lead to the response behavior and they have to be predictive. Classical behavior has to dictate the response.
c. It correlates that conditions are associated with the theory of response
