• Granted to Poland in Treaty of Versailles, Germans protested and LoN held a plebiscite
• Overall wanted Germany but some areas wanted Poland
• Eastern Upper Silesia went to Poland and Western Upper Silesia went to Germany

• Turkey claimed Mozul which is part of British mandated territory Iraq
• League investigated and gave it to Iraq
• Turkey accepted

League successes: Bulgaria

• 1925
• A border dispute between Greece and Bulgaria
• League was in favour of Bulgaria
• Greece had to pay £45,000 compensation
