What are functional theories ?
Associated with the leader maximising efficiency
Its their job to increase productivity - must do the necessary things
What are situational theories ?
Good leaders chose the best course of action based on situations
What are participative theories ?
The input of others makes them feel involved - good leaders do this
What are management theories ?
Focuses on the role of supervision / organisation / group performance
Rewards + Punishments
What are relationship theories ?
Focuses on the connection formed by leaders and followers
Good ethics and morals help them achieve full potential
