Influencing the behaviour of individuals or groups.
=> groups more complex because of group dynamics
Group dynamics
- Alpha individuum influences behaviour of others (others mimic aplha’s behaviour)
- eg: peer pressure

• The persons behaviour and trained skills lead to leadership success

Leadership is different in different situations
• behaviour plays a role
• additionally the situation and environment have an impact on the leadership success

- team performance / achievements
- employee-turnover (sickness leave, quit)
