Since members receive little guidance, they may be unclear about their role in the project/in general.
Since the leader seems unconcerned and uninvolved, members may pick up on this and express less care and concern for the project.
If a goal/goals is/are not met the leader may blame the members for not completing tasks or living up to expectations.
