What is Ethernet?
Ethernet is a technology that connects computers and devices in a network using cables. It allows them to share data with each other quickly and reliably. Think of it like a digital highway where information travels between devices.
Ethernet is a way for computers, printers, and other devices to communicate with each other in a wired network. It uses cables (usually called Ethernet cables) to send data between devices.
Key Points:
• Wired connection: Unlike Wi-Fi, Ethernet needs physical cables.
• Fast and stable: It provides a more reliable and faster connection than wireless networks.
• Common in offices and homes: Many routers, computers, and gaming consoles use Ethernet for internet access.
Imagine Ethernet as a road where data travels in small “packets” like cars, moving from one device to another.
