Law 1 -The Pitch-Soccer must be played on grass but the surface must be green.The field must be rectangular in shape and distinctly marked by two short goal lines and two long touch lines.Opposing teams are not allowed to enter this circle during the opposing teams kick off.
Law 2 -The Ball-A soccer ball must be spherical in shape and made of leather or another comparable material.It’s circumference must be in the range of 27-28 inches.This rule is only applicable in official sanction Al matches as youth leagues often employ the case of a smaller ball that is better for children.

Law 4 -Equipment-Players-are required to wear jersey shorts shin guards socks and cleats.The socks must cover the shin guard entirely.If the ref deems a players equipment unsatisfactory the player cannot be sent off until the issue is remedied.
