  3. Keep the Veterinary Medical Examining Board Fund (10% of all fees to board to goes to state general, 90% to this fund)
  4. Employment of personnel as needed, including an executive director
  5. Protect the public from unlawful, incompetent, etc practicing of vet med
  6. Investigation of violations and regulating disciplinary actions
  7. Granting / removing licenses and keeping records of all these licenses
  8. Setting rules and deadlines for applications and licenses
  9. Having an official seal for licenses
