What is statutory law?
If you fail to comply with a statutory requirement on you, you can be charged with a criminal offence.
Criminal law is enforced by government agencies such as CPS, HSE, the police and fire authorities.
What is common law?
Common law of case law is where the outcome of a particular case sets a precedent
