And object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by an outside force for example, a car parked, or a basketball rolling down a hill

Force equals mass multiplied by acceleration

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction for example, sitting on a chair, the chair pushes on you and you push on the chair
