What happens after the first instance of unfair play?
Warn the captain of the offending side (it is a first and final warning), and declare that any further offences mean that 5 penalty runs will be awarded to the opposition
What do you do if you suspect the opposing side of having altered the state of the ball?
Offer a different ball for the other sides captain (for a batting side, the batters can deputise for the captain)
What happens if/ not the ball is changed due to tampering?
5 penalty runs to the opposition and inform both captains and batters what has happened
What happens if ball tampering happens more than once?
Same as before, also, inform captain to remove the bowler from the attack
What do you do if a fielder attempts to distract the batsmen when preparing to face a delivery?
Call a dead ball, give 5 penalty runs to the batting side and inform the captains what has happened
What happens when a fielder, either by action or word, attempts to deceive the batter/s?
Dead ball is called, award 5 penalty runs to the batting side, inform both captains of what has happened
What happens if a bowler delivers a second, above the head bouncer (or waist high full toss) in an over?
A no ball is given, inform the captain to remove the bowler from the attack
What do you do if you think a bowler has intentionally bowled an above the waist full toss or front foot no ball?
Call a no ball, immediately direct the captain to remove the bowler from the attack
What do you do if a fielding side is wasting time?
First time, give a warning, second time: give five penalty runs to the batting side and, if applicable, direct the captain to remove the bowler (call dead ball immediately)
