Insertions- upper lat 1/3 of clavicle
- by triangular aponeurosis to med end of scapular spine

Innervation- Spinal Accessory (XI) C3-4
Other actions- side flex/extend neck

Serratus Anterior (lower fibres)

Origin- outer surfaces and sup borders of upper 8-9 ribs and intercostal fascia
Insertion- costal surface of med border of scapula

Innervation- Long Thoracic L5-7
