WM or Deputy to ;
1. Interview ASAP and check their record
2. Ascertain any avoidance
3. PARC card. Confirmation that a discussion has taken place, and the date, to be recorded
4.Either A) A letter 1 (confirmation of discussion at the informal stage)
B) details of the discussion should be confirmed by e-mail to the employee

Two occasions of lateness within a rolling twelve month period will result in a

1. PARC card
2. Letter 1 to be issued by the WM or deputising officer unless there are MITIGATING circumstances for the lateness
3. Where a letter 1 is not going to be issued, the WM must have first discussed this proposed course of action with the local SM

consideration to be given for Stage 1 action (Conduct) to be heard by the Station Manager.
If a SATISFACTORY EXPLANATION is not provided for the late attendances, the expected outcome will be a written warning
