Driving car House keeping Meal preparation Persona grooming Difficulty reading Leisure activities may be less enjoyable
What are some declines in hearing ?
Difficult to carry conversation
Can lead to social withdrawal
Loneliness and depression
Cognitive declines in understanding and remembering
What are some chronic health problems in late adulthood ?
Arthritis - disease of joints
Cartilage wears out and fluid joint diminish
Women affected more than men
Management involves medication , inserting new joints and or exercise
What are the sleep changes in late adulthood ?
Sleep less deeply
Light sleep increase
Sleep Apnea which can be treated using CPAP device
Depression , shrinking bladder , restless legs all can be symptoms and reasons for changes in sleep

Osteoporosis and high blood pressure pumps bloodless efficiently
Secondary aging could make conditions worse
Diet and medication are treatment options
Smoking causes
Cardiovascular diseases
Cancer
Decline in all five senses
Cognitively what happens in late adulthood
