50% Rule
Rule #2
BOLDFACE
“The maximum safe dive angle for a 90° turning roll in is 50% of the pre roll in altitude (AGL) in hundreds of feet, not to exceed 25° dive angle.”
10° Rule
Rule #3
BOLDFACE
“Start your roll out at or before a dive angle equal to your highest observed climb angle minus 10°. Then intercept the dive recovery rules. The G used over the top must be greater than or equal to the G used at the start of the manuever.”
Maximum Recovery Manuever (MRM)
BOLDFACE
Select Max AB and initiate a 4G pull up to 47-50° nose up. unload the aircraft to 45° nose up on the VV. At 250kts execute a 0.5G pushover to straight and level flight and select MIL as the VV reaches the horizon.

Emergency Dive Recovery
BOLDFACE
Roll wings level (unloaded to less than 90°, then loaded roll)
Aplly max G available to positive rate of climb and terrain / obstacle clearance is assured
if airspeed > 350kts - Throttles Idle.
If airspeed < 350kts - Throttles MIL/MAX.
ROJ
