Asyndeton is a list that uses punctuation marks to separate items that conjunction.
What is allusion?
An allusion is a reference to iconic place, thing or person.
What is imagery?
Imagery us descriptive language that appeal with our senses to create vivid imagery.
Alliteration
Alliteration is when the constant sound at the start of words is repeated in series of words.
Gerund
Gerund is a verb in the ing form that act as a noun.
Noun
A noun is a name of a person, place or thing.
- Proper name (capitalised)

- concrete noun (thing)
- Abstract noun (quality, state or action)
verb
A word that describes an action or state of mind.
What is an adverb
Adverb describes an verb (how, degree, place, time)
Comparison
Comparing 2 or more things (like or as)
Tone
Tone is the author’s attitude in a piece of text
Statistice/fact
Statistics is percentages/numbers
Facts are information known to be true
Anecdote
Anecdote is a personal story to prove a point.
Personification
Personification is giving human characteristics to non-human things.
Listing
A number of connected items.
