- exterior syndromes: fever, chills, nasal obstruction, Yang Ming headache
- disorders of head and face, and sensory organs: sinusitis, epistaxis, swelling and pain of throat, toothache (due to swelling of gums), pain and redness of eyes, neck swelling, facial paralysis
- skin disorders: swellings, rashes, itching, discoloration, discharge and pain of skin
Pathology (dominates disorders of Body Fluids, Jin-Ye)
Organs
- disorders of the Large Intestine: abdominal pain, umbilicus pain, borborygmus, flatulence, diarrhea, constipation
- disorders of the Lung: cough, asthma, sputum, chest pain, fatigue
- disorders of Stomach: epigastric pain, vomiting, belching
- disorders of the Body Fluids:
excess: diarrhea, runny nose, facial edema, sweating,
deficiency: dry mouth and throat, thirst, dry stool, lack of sweating
