Cramped Keyboards. Laptop Function Keys. Switch for wireless functionality. Keyboard Backlighting. Screen Orientation Control. GPS capabilities. Docking Station Compatibility. Rotating/Removeable Screen.
What is a good defence against laptop theft?
Laptop Lock.
Give common function keys?
Dual Display Control.

Audio/Visual Control from Keyboard.

What does Dual Display Control allow for?
Shift between video configuration. Show Normal Display, Show external display. Show only normal/external.
How do you link to external displays?
Typically through HDMI cables.
What is an LCD switch?
An automatic laptop Display control that activates when your laptop is closed, but connected to an external monitor.
How is an LCD switch activated?
An external switch for older systems. For modern systems the switch is magnetic.
How can the LCD switch be disabled?
Through the BIOS or another utility that comes with the laptop.
How does disabling wireless connectivity work?
Disable all specifications. 802.11, Cellular and Bluetooth.
Some can disable specific ones.
How is screen orientation controlled in laptops?
It is either automatic depending on the application, or done through a specific key. Function or hotkey.
How can GPS be controlled?
Typically through Airplane mode.
How does GPS function through laptops?
Through the antenna in the screen.
What are docking stations/port replicators?
Stationary stations for laptops, that help extend interfaces, allow for easy use of mice and keyboards and functionality of laptop systems.
What are port replicators?
Port replicators are smaller docking stations that do not allow for extended functionality.
How are laptop locks used.
Connect to the laptop and another solid area. There is a specific port for it.
