In psycholinguistic perspective, language is tool to express our mind and emotion that are innate but process of this largely unknown to most people. aims to understand how language was acquired and produced
Explain the differences and the sameness of the three language use in detail.
The similarities between the three are all three components rely on cognitive functions such as memory, attention, and problem-solving. They involve the brain’s ability to process linguistic information, whether it is interpreting sounds (perception), generating speech (production), or learning new language structures (acquisition).
Even though they both utilize cognitive functions, they both have different focuses:
Production: Centers on the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas verbally or in writing. This requires retrieval of vocabulary and application of grammatical rules.
Perception Primarily concerned with comprehension and understanding of language input. It involves auditory processing and interpretation of linguistic elements.
Acquisition: Involves both perception and production but emphasizes the learning mechanisms, including exposure to language input and practice in using the language.
