Q

Conduction aphasia

A

It is like the opposite of global aphasia. So Wernicke and Broca are both intact so comprehension is fine, fluency is fine.

Language skills that rely on speed are fucked.

Q

What is Wernicke’s Equivalent?

A

Similar area but on the right hemisphere

Don’t recognize emotional content of speech. Speech is like a text message.

They have difficulty determining when they are being lied to.

(so again a comprehension issue)
