Spiritual Value
This is particularly common for indigenous people, who view some features of the landscapes as having spiritual value.
This may be because the landscapes were formed by an ancient spiritual presence.

Landscapes can have an economic value through the use of land for agriculture, urban development and industrialisation.
Landscapes can also be valuable as a tourist destination, which also generates economic value.
