What is S114 LTA 1998?
Power to require driver to stop and give name and address etc
Officer in uniform, signal or request driver to stop.
In vehicle following vehicle using lights and sirens to stop
Driver to remain stopped reasonably necessary to carry out duties
Require driver to give particulars
As long as reasonably necessary to ID driver, no longer than 15 minutes
May arrest of failure to comply
What is S119 LTA 1998?
Powers of entry after freshly pursuing
RGTS contravened requirement or committed offence
Freshly pursuing may enter property or premises without warrant by force if necessary to determine whether or not power to be exercised or to exercise power

What is S120 LTA 1998?
Arrest of person for drug or alcohol related offence or assault on enforcement officer
What is S121 LTA 1998?
May immobilise vehicle, etc, in specified circumstances
Person because of their physical or mental condition incapable of proper control
Officer may:
Forbid to drive 12 hours
Direct person to drive somewhere for rest
Take keys
Take steps necessary to immobilise vehicle
May arrest without warrant who fails to comply
What is S121A LTA 1998?
May give directions to immobilise vehicle if driver breaches license conditions.
Same as 121 FARMED
