Skiddaw group- North - smooth mountains with deep gorges
Borrowdale volcanic group- Central- Highest mountains and dramatic landscapes such as Scafell Pike and Hellvelyn
Windermere group- sedimentary - South- gentle hills and lakes landscape

Borrowdale volcanics

Lowlands- rarely founf above 300m above sea level

On the right bank of Langstrath valley. (Still because of mass movement of the valley side)
Where can you find a medial moraine?
Wythburn Valley
Where can you find a terminal moraine?
The Naddle valley (Naddle Beck stream has cut through it and it is much eroded today)
Where can erratics be found ?
Witherslack (made of Borrowdale Volcanic group (hard rock) deposited on limestone (softer rock))
