Height - Will reach the objective and allow for correct projection and plumbing. min 3 rungs beyond objective.
Projection - Distance from foot of ladder to edge of building.
Plumbing - Ladder is perpendicular.
Clearance - Ensure there are no hazards when pitching ladder.
Ground condition - check for stable and level ground
