What are the steps of lacrimal activity?

A

Palpebral lacrimal gland secretion > empties into the lateral part of superior conjunctival fornix > fluid accumulates from lateral to medial as person blinks (orbicularis oculi) > fluid enters lacrimal punctum > lacrimal canaliculi each on upper and lower eyelids > lacrimal canaliculi eventually join the lacrimal lake
