What is Sheehans syndrome?
postpartum hypopituitarism or postpartum pituitary gland necrosis, is hypopituitarism (decreased functioning of the pituitary gland), caused by ischemic necrosis due to blood loss and hypovolemic shock during and after childbirth.
What can salbutamol and indomethicin be used for in pregnancy?
Tocolytic

What is the treatment of shoulder distocia? (anterior shoulder stuck behind pubic symphisis.
Suprapubic pressure, mc roberts manoeuvre, rotate the baby, remove posterior arm, roll patient onto hands and knees.
What is the complication with shoulder distocia?
Cord gets trapped, chest can’t expand so they can’t breathe then hypoxia and death.
What does the BISHOPs score assess?
Length of the cervix, consistency, position of the cervix, dilation, station.
What is the landmark at station 0?
Ishial spine
Manoeuvres:
McRoberts’: Hyperflexion of maternal hips + thighs abducted & external rotated
Johnson: Used in manual correction of uterine inversion by pushing up the uterus through the vagina
Internal: Can be a number of manoeuvres, e.g. Woods’ screw, reverse Woods’ screw etc
Leopold’s: Used antenatally in order to determine the position of the fetus inside the uterus
Zavanelli: Pushing back the fetal head into the birth canal in anticipation of performing a caesarean section
