cervical exam is composed of
dilation, effacement, station (ischial spine - where baby is) Negative is not ready
Stage 1 phase 1 of labor ends when cervix is at

Stage 3 is
baby is delivery and placenta is also pulled

HoTN, Coagluation, ICP, anatomic back issues
pain control in stage 1 of labor is
IM/IV epidural or anesthesia

pudendal block - rarely done
When can you induce labor? when do you do ICS for fetus?
40 weeks
<34 weeks - ICS for lungs
what do you give to induce labor?
