What is the normal Magnesium range ?
;
What is therapeutic range of magnesium fore preeclamptic patient?why is this range necessary?
1.3-2.1 mEq/L
therapeutic magnesium level of 4-7 mEq/L (2.0-3.5 mmol/L) is necessary to prevent seizures in a preeclamptic client
INR**
normal 0.75-1.25
Typically the therapeutic INR range should be 1.5-2 times the normal “control” value (INR of 2-3) for medical reasons such as deep vein thrombosis, atrial fibrillation, or stroke.
An INR of 3 to 3.5 is desired for the client with a mechanical heart valve. An INR of 5.0 or higher places the client at risk for bleeding and requires a dosage adjustment of the warfarin or the administration of vitamin K as an antidote
Warfarin
Sodium
135-145 mEq/L
Ammonia
10-80 mg/dL
Hemoglobin
For adult and infants
men: 14-18 g/dL women: 12-16 g/dL
The normal range for hemoglobin
in a 1-month-old is 12.5-20.5 g/dL
Hematocrit
men: 40-54% women: 38-47%

PT
11.0-12.5 seconds
Warfarin
aPTT (same as PTT)***
20-36 seconds
therapeutic value of aPTT, typically
1.5–2 times the normal value.
Therapeutic value for aPTT is 46–70 seconds
Heparin
ABG
pH: 7.35-7.45 PaO2: 80-100 mmHg SaO2: 94-100% PaCO2: 35-45 mmHg HCO3: 22-26 mEq/L
