Go to design view and add it, then you can modify the data type

Modify data type by choosing User Defined
Primary key
Any field or group of fields that uniquely identifies each record. To set one, right-click on the small space next to the field name then select primary key
You might have to assign more than one primary key
Filter
Click the standard filter button.
The auto filter can be used after selecting a record
Create a relationship
In the menu bar, click on tools and select relationships
Queries
Click on queries then click on create queries in design view. Add necessary tables. For the table boxes that show up, click on the fields within them to get them to show up at the bottom. Then save the query
For numerical you will need to use number specific sorting like >= 3.
