Origin- Coracoid process and supraglenoid tubercle
Insertion- radial tuberosity of radius
Action- Flexes elbow(primary when supinated); flexes shoulder; supinates radioulnar joint
Brachialis
Origin-anterior-medial shaft of humerus
Insertion- coronoid process of ulna
Action- flexes elbow (primary when pronated)
Brachioradialis
Origin- lateral epicondyle of humerus
Insertion- distal radius
Action- flexes elbow (primary when neutral)
Triceps Brachii
Origin-Infraglenoid tubercle; posterior humerus
Insertion- olecranon process of ulna
Action- extends elbow; extends shoulder
Pronator Teres
Origin- medial epicondyle of humerus
Insertion- proximal 1/3 radius
action- pronates radioulnar joint
Supinator
Origin- lateral epicondyle of humerus
Insertion- proximal 1/3 radius
Action- supinates radioulnar joint
Flexor Carpi Radialis
*wrist flexor
Origin- medial epicondyle of humerus
Insertion- anterior lateral hand
Action- flexes wrist; radial deviation
Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
*wrist flexors
Origin- medial epicondyle of humerus
Insertion- anterior medial hand
Action- flexes wrist; ulnar deviation
Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus & Extensor Carpi Radialis Brevis
*wrist extensor
Origin- lateral epicondyle of humerus
Insertion- posterior lateral hand
Action- Extends wrist; radial deviation
Extensor Carpi Ulnaris

Origin- pubic bone and pubic symphysis
Insertion- xiphoid process; costal cartilage of ribs 5-7
Action- Flexes trunk; assists in forced expiration
